"I started working at Laser Game Evolution as a student job as a game marshal. I applied by chance because it wasn't my field of study at all (Law). I quickly realised that this student job was great: a good atmosphere within the team, welcoming and supporting people who came to have fun... For me, I combined business with pleasure; I had found a stopgap job that I enjoyed. After two and a half years as a game marshal, I had to leave my position to be able to finish my Master's degree in «Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences» in the best possible way. At the end of my university course, I needed to find a stopgap job quickly, which is why I naturally turned back to Laser Game Evolution. Having enjoyed my first experience within this company, I tried my luck again. I was recruited full-time. Quite quickly, opportunities opened up for me: a manager position became vacant, I was able to prove myself and management chose to trust me. Today I am a centre manager. The area manager and Management knew how to satisfy my thirst for learning and support me in my new duties (listening, help and training). Since I have been holding this position, I feel I have acquired numerous skills and I still enjoy it just as much. Even though my duties have diversified, I spend the majority of my working time on the arena floor, so in contact with customers and with my team. To conclude, my adventure within this family-spirited company has been surprising, rewarding, filled with joy and laughter, and I hope it will continue."

«I have been working at Laser Game Evolution since November 2019. I obtained a technological baccalaureate, but after completing it, I couldn't find my path in higher education. I was already very familiar with Laser Game Evolution, having played there many times since my childhood and celebrated my birthdays there. Even though I had a few previous experiences, it is Laser Game Evolution that allowed me to enter the working world. The games master position I hold is not always a walk in the park, particularly during peak periods (on Saturdays), but this is a tiny drawback compared to the many advantages, such as customer relations or the great atmosphere within my team. Working in the leisure sector is synonymous with a permanent "good vibe", which is extremely appreciated and very motivating. Hoping to see you soon in one of our Laser Game Evolution centres!"

"I started at Laser Game Evolution in 2016. Initially just a Laser Game player, a future recruitment advert pinned to the counter of the Laser Game Evolution centre in Mons kicked off my wonderful journey with the company. After an interview, I was hired in March 2016 as a games host on a student contract. I clicked with the job straight away: making sure customers had a great time, looking after children's birthday parties, a fantastic atmosphere with colleagues... and bright prospects for the future with a young and continually developing company! I enjoyed the work so much that in 2017 I asked to go full-time to focus on it. Lady Luck was on my side as a position was opening up in Mons, and I thus secured my first permanent full-time job. This was an opportunity for me to deepen my skills and discover other facets of the job that you don't see as a student: maintenance, organising evening events, external functions, etc. As the company expanded into other towns, I had the opportunity to apply for a manager position at the brand new Namur centre in 2018. It was a dream come true: helping with the fit-out, setting up the launch, communications, recruitment and team management. A few months later, I had the chance to look after more and more of the Belgian centres as well, until I eventually became manager of all the Belgian centres today. Managing the various teams across the centres, recruitment, national partnerships, team cohesion, setting objectives... all these little things have been added to my work to my absolute delight! A job where you never get bored and where every skill can come in handy: management, a sense of humour, people skills... In short, a wonderful adventure that continues thanks to the trust of my colleagues and management..."

"My Laser Game Evolution adventure started as a player! During an evening out with friends at the laser tag centre, I saw a job offer for a student position and I rushed to apply. I started at Laser Game Evolution in February 2014 as a games host on a 22-hour-a-week contract in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (59). I joined a young, dynamic team, and I loved the job straight away! At Laser Game Evolution, we welcome customers of all ages who come to have fun, and that is just super nice. After a few months, I wanted to change my contract to full-time, and a similar position was available at the centre in Mons (Belgium). I worked there for two years as a games host, and then I had the opportunity to progress to the role of manager. Two years later, I wanted to move to a different region, and thanks to Laser Game Evolution I was able to make my plans a reality by moving to Savoie. Since June 2019, I have been the centre manager in Chambéry (73). This role is very versatile; most of the time I work in the centre, carrying out the same tasks as a games host (welcoming customers, taking payments, registering players, giving briefings, handing out scores, cleaning, etc.). I also handle recruitment, train new team members, draw up rotas, meet and prospect for clients and partners, and manage social media and local marketing. I really enjoy the variety of the duties, and above all the working environment which has a great atmosphere, whether with the customers, my colleagues or my managers. I hope my story with Laser Game Evolution will continue for many more years."

"I started working at Laser Game Evolution in June 2021 following the reopening of all venues. I obtained a Master’s degree in business management and administration (on a work-study programme in a trampoline park) in the sports and leisure sector in 2020.
Following the COVID-19 epidemic, I couldn't find a job in my sector and so I changed fields (retail manager, sports shop manager, etc.), but I didn't feel as fulfilled as I did during my work-study placement. Unfortunately, no leisure companies were hiring until the day I saw the job advert from Laser Game Evolution for a newly created assistant manager position. Laser Game Evolution was creating a position right at the time of reopening without any certainty of business resuming, so I didn't hesitate because, to me, this showed enormous ambition on the part of the group.
I have absolutely no regrets about my choice because, 6 months later, management has succeeded in fulfilling me through the diversification of my daily duties: front-of-house hosting in contact with customers, the recruitment and training of my colleagues, communication, the creation of monthly events, etc. Furthermore, after having worked in several companies in different sectors, Laser Game Evolution is by far the company with the best working atmosphere and where all the staff and management are the most approachable."
