Digitisation of scorecards

In order to reduce one's environmental impact, Laser Game Entreprise wished to develop the digitisation of scorecards.

Indeed, a paper scorecard had previously been issued to each participant.

Today, every centre thus has the option of sending their clients their scores either in paper format – as before – or in digital format.

After a bespoke development business software by our design office, Laser Tag Equipment, it is now possible to store the scorecards online, in PDF format, on a secure server and make them accessible via a QR code, generated at the end of each game.

The customer can then scan with their smartphone the QR code corresponding to their game and download the associated score sheet onto one's phone.

To do this, the latter only needs an app to scan the QR code and an internet connection. Moreover, some recent-generation smartphones have a scanner built right into the camera.

If the customer wishes, the centre can also print the QR code for subsequent downloading of the scorecard. Please note, however, that the QR code has an expiry date. Beyond this date, the scorecards will no longer be accessible.

The aim of this digitalisation is to’encourage centres and their customers to consume less paper, by giving them the necessary tools to change this behaviour.
